Hello Fibre Friends!
Happy New Year! I have so many knitting plans for this year! Well, actually, 12 knitting plans. Myself and many other knitters around the shop are committing to knitting 12 sweaters in 2012. The rules are loose. Previously started sweaters, baby sweaters, even skirts, all count. Socks and shawls don't count. Who's in?

Feel free to peruse my My Ravelry Queue. Yes, I know I have more than 12 sweaters in there right now...the queue is constantly evolving.

Good luck in 2012, no matter what you choose to knit!

Keep Knitting,
Megan

Handmaiden Cashmere 4-ply
Cozy up with Handmaiden Yarns' luxurious hand dyed cashmere! We just want to dive into a big pile of this yarn. It's super soft, warm, and light, and one skein will make a great pair of armwarmers or a hat.

Check out this elegant striped cowl pattern from Laura! It's easy to knit, and takes 2 skeins of Handmaiden Cashmere 4-ply. 100% cashmere, 185 yds per 50g skein, $38.

Also new in the cashmere department....new Jade Sapphire Scarf Kits. 4 skeins of plump worsted weight cashmere and a booklet with many scarf patterns to make. In red, black, winter white, or deep purple. $100 per kit.

MCN Worsted from Indigodragonfly
It's a battle of the cowls! Natalie's Grand Central cowl uses 2 skeins of the gorgeous MCN worsted from local indie dyer Indigodragonfly. This blend of 80% merino, 10% cashmere and 10% nylon is tightly plied for great stitch definition, and we have it in lots of saturated semi-solid colours! 180 yds per 115g skein, $28.

More From Indigodragonfly
Lots of different varieties of Indigodragonfly sock yarns arrived last week. Something for everyone! Semi-solids, multicolours, some with nylon, some with silk, come see which one is right for your project!

Don't forget to check out the great classes we have scheduled!
